Normally, on Fridays I post a pic and have you all comment on it, but being Super Bowl Weekend, I decided to be different this week. As you all know i am a sports geek. Well not just a sports geek, i'm a _____(insert any word here) geek. But i have listened to sports radio, watched all the talk shows read all the stats, and ogled all the hot
cheerleaders and i have come up with my can't lose
predictions for this years Super Bowl. i haven�t felt
this good about a pick, since, in Costa Rica, Tom and
I won a lot on the Broncos over the Packers, so here you
go...

Throw all your life savings on the Eagles +7.5!!!!
We're talking refinance the home, sell your children,
whatever you gotta do, cause you can take this one to
the bank and this is why....

1) Every Television and radio "expert" that i have
heard has said that the Patriots are the best team on
paper and that they will win big. The only one that i
have heard, that even insinuates the Eagles have a
chance at winning is Ron Jaworski, but he's an ex
Eagle so he probably has to.

2)All this "dynasty" talk and all this "Belichick is
the next Lombardi" talk will backfire. If enough
people tell you that you are great, it eventually
sinks in, and you start to believe it and overlook your
opponent (see NE first win vs. Rams).

3)Freddie Mitchell. i don�t know if this was
intentional or not, but Mitchell's stupid comment
saying he has something for Rodney Harrison, may
actually help the Eagles. Think about it. You got
TO, Pinkston and Mitchell lined up in a 3 WR set. The
entire secondary is going to be keyed up on taking
Mitchell's head off, but wouldn�t you rather key up on
the #1 and #2 wr's on the team? Mitchell caught 22
passes this year, which amounts to less than 2 a
game, so that gives them 2 shots at kicking his ass.
if i were Andy Reid, i would use this to my advantage
and make him a decoy.

4)Last time i checked, the Eagles have been to 4
straight championships, have a 13-3 regular season
record(really a 13-1 record for the starters).

5)The patriots defensive strength is their front seven
and the Eagles strength offensively, is in their
passing game. The pats secondary is ripe for the
picking!

6)The Dolphins this year, made Brady look like Greg
Brady, breaking Marcia�s nose on a errant hail Mary pass, by attacking and blitzing him. The Eagles
blitz practically every down, and if they get pressure
on Brady, he will turn the ball over.

7) The underdog generally is a better line to bet on,
according to my bookie, sources!

2) The best Commercial will be Miller Lite�s.
3) Nick will pull out his last 47 hair follicles by the fourth quarter.
4) I will pull out my last 13 follicles by the fourth note of Paul McCartney�s performance.
5) The team that puts more points on the board will win.
6) There will be no in team.
7) No one will give 110%.
8) I will say fuck and ref in the same sentence 13 times.
9) The pregame show will be stupid.
10) Someone on the winning team will declare that it was God that helped them win.
11) Chris Collinsworth will make 545405845045 stupid comments.
12) Nick will Ramble on, in a drunken stupor, incessantly on the phone after the Eagles are victorious, about how his poor downtrodden city has been waiting 22 years for this day!

So CLEARLY you all can see that i have thought too
much about this, and clearly you all can see that 7.5
is a ridiculous point spread! i just wanted to get
this in print on the world wide web, so that come
Sunday night, i can brag to the world that i was
right.....again!
